Pastor Johnson was raised in a household of faith and holiness by his mother, Leslie Bellamy. Pastor Johnson received the gospel message at an early age and was licensed to preach in July 2002 by his Pastor and Mentor the late Superintendent Willie 0. Little. Missionary Denise Johnson mentoring him along the way, Pastor Johnson was ordained Elder in the grand old Church of God in Christ in August 2005 by Jurisdictional Prelate of the Northern Georgia Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, Bishop Mark Walden. He served faithfully in many capacities in the Church of God in Christ Inc. both in the local church and within the district churches lead by his father Superintendent Johnnie B. Johnson Sr.
In July 2015, Pastor Johnson heard God speak clearly calling him to be a leader of victory among the believers, and with that call Victorious Empowerment Church was planted.
Pastor Johnson leadership style is innovative in philosophy. Birthed from the perspective if the church is the
body of Christ, it should be moving into new areas and expanding the agenda of God His mission is to move the church from fighting for victory to fighting from victory by empowering believers to win at life.
The church began humbly with only three members, Pastor Johnson's wife, Lady Shikima S. Johnson, his mother-in-law, Annette Bell, and son, Tyrese. The church has now blossomed under the favor of God to over seventy-five in membership. Being a psalmist, In January 2020 Pastor Johnson guided the church sanctuary choir, Victorious, into recording their first live recording
entitled "God Outcome." The title track was written by Pastor Johnson. In that same month of January, under Pastor Johnson's leadership the church purchased 11.5 acres of land to begin building their new church edifice, daycare center, and Victorious Academy School.
October 2020, Pastor Johnson was nominated and unanimously voted in to serve as the Toombs County Association of Ministers Alliance, T.A.M.A., Vice President. July 2021, Pastor Johnson was duly consecrated as a Bishop in the Lord's church with three valid lines of apostolic succession. July 2023, now Bishop J. Bradford Johnson Jr., was appointed as the Southeastern Provincial Bishop of the Global United Fellowship, under the auspices of Presiding Prelate Bishop Joel Peebles.
With I Thessalonians 5:23-24 as the backdrop to Pastor Johnson's holistic approach to the pastorate, he has founded three non-profit organizations to enhance the entire person's way of living. Victorious Life Consulting LLC, Victorious Empowerment Community Cares Foundation, and Three J Ministries Inc. All three non-profits have been responsible for feeding the community,
clothing drives, marriage and family counseling services, small business consultation, and school supplies and backpack giveaways. The non-profits have also provided eight scholarships to high school students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Pastor Johnson is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Psychology. Married to his wife, Elder Shikima Johnson, they both lead Victorious Empowerment Church Inc. into the called place of God They have one son to the union Tyrese.

3J Ministries Inc. is a tax deductible 501c3 nonprofit organization. We are good stewards with what God has given us by providing scholarships, establishing community food and clothing drives, and assisting ministries in fulfilling their vision and mission. We attempt to show the world our hearts by being agents of change with what God has given us and proclaiming the gospel. Our mission is to glorify God in every area of our service.
